How to manage PTO policies in different countries?
Company is expanding from a primary HQ in California into Dublin, Ireland. A payroll specialist is assessing what occurs when an employee voluntarily or involuntarily resigns from the company and what are the vacation payout roles for Ireland and how that differs from California, US.
That policy will be reviewed by legal, payroll, and stakeholders for comment and approval. Once a finalized policy has been determined, that policy will then be made available to all future employees in Ireland.
